Montclair Police Will Host Free Bike Registration Event: Oct. 7
Montclair Township Ordinance 93-2 requires residents to register their bicycles with the police department, authorities say.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair Police Department Community Service Unit officers will team up with Pedal Montclair for a free bicycle registration event Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pedal Montclair, 15 Midland Avenue.
“Many residents are unaware that Township Ordinance 93-2 requires residents to register their bicycles with the police department,” Montclair police stated in a news release. “Bicycle registration is a great tool for law enforcement if your bicycle is ever reported stolen.”
