Montclair Pool Will Close Due To ‘Lifeguard Staffing Shortage’
Mountainside Pool will close for the season on Aug. 26. Nishuane Pool will remain open through Sept. 6.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A municipally run pool in Montclair is among the latest facilities in New Jersey to be impacted by a staffing shortage, town officials said Monday.
According to a Montclair town advisory, Mountainside Pool will close for the season on Thursday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. due to a “lifeguard staffing shortage.”
Weather permitting, the town’s other municipal pool, Nishuane Pool, will remain open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Monday, Sept. 6.
