Montclair Preps For More Sewer Rehab Work On Bloomfield Avenue

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Get set for another round of sewer rehab work, Montclair.
On Wednesday, June 13, North American Pipeline (NAP) will begin sewer rehabilitation lining on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, town officials announced. The trenchless lining installation will begin on Bloomfield Avenue during “Essex County-approved hours of operation”: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Monday to Thursday.
The following work schedule for the Bloomfield Avenue project was provided to Montclair municipal officials by NAP:

- June 13 – 14: Highland Avenue – St. Luke’s Place
- June 17: Valley Road – Maple Avenue
According to Montclair officials:
“Temporary partial lane closures are expected in order to provide sufficient working areas for necessary equipment. Affected customers were provided written notices advising them of anticipated disruption of service and disturbance due to odor or noise expected during the above hours of operation. NAP provided these notices to local residences and businesses along Bloomfield Avenue.”
The upcoming work follows a similar effort in March at Orange Road, Grove Street and Bloomfield Avenue.
