Montclair Ranks On National List For ‘Spiritual Self-Discovery’

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair recently landed on a list of the nation’s top spots for “Spiritual Self-Discovery.”
TarotCards.io recently surveyed more than 3,000 people seeking their opinions about which U.S. towns are most tuned into alternative spiritualities – from paganism and Wicca, to astrology, energy healing and beyond.
Montclair ranked 132nd on the national list, which included 183 “spiritual” hotspots. See the full list here.

Here’s what the study had to say about the township:

The top three places on the list included Cassadaga, Florida (1st), Kapaʻa, Kauaʻi, Hawaii (2nd), and Downtown Salem, Massachusetts (3rd).

“Spirituality in America is evolving - it’s less about organized religion and more about personal ritual,” Sunaree Ko of TarotCards.io said.
“These towns aren’t just quirky – they’re reflections of a growing curiosity about how belief can be both ancient and newly imagined,” Ko said.
