It turns out Montclair residents aren’t shy about offering ideas about new businesses they’d like to see come to town in 2020. Local residents replying to our social media callout earlier this week offered a range of suggestions.

- A restaurant that is completely gluten free!
- An Italian bakery
- Anything but another nail salon
- a delicious salad joint
- Torchy’s Tacos
"Oh for crying out loud!" one commenter wrote. "The **** GROCERY STORE in the 4th Ward!"
"Open a grocery store in the south end," another reader agreed. "That's not a want, it's an urgent NEED."
