Montclair Republican Club Seeks High School Scholarship Applicants

Are you a college-bound student in Montclair who can show "how the promotion of individual freedom creates a prosperous and just society?"

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Are you a college-bound high school student in Montclair who can show “how the promotion of individual freedom creates a prosperous and just society?” The Montclair Republican Club (MRC) may have a scholarship waiting.

The MRC sponsors an annual $1,000 competitive scholarship, and is inviting qualified Montclair residents who are college-bound Montclair High School seniors to apply.

“Scholarship awards are based on high academic achievement, including a high school transcript and standardized test scores, as well as completion of three short essays on topics relating to current economic and political issues, illustrating how the promotion of individual freedom creates a prosperous and just society.”

Students can submit scholarship applications and supporting documents by May 15, 2022 by email to montclairrepublicans@gmail.com, or by postal mail to Montclair Republicans, 12 Marquette Road, Upper Montclair, NJ 07043.
