Montclair Residents Boost MKA Lacrosse

Montclair Kimberley Academy's boys lacrosse team put together a solid 12-6 season (5-2 in the Bianchi Division) with 11 Montclair residents helping to promote the success of the Cougar laxmen this 2026 spring campaign.

Junior midfielder Alex Scuorzo was the main faceoff man for the Cougars (190 or 420 for 45 %) while facing a bevy of top faceoff artists on MKA's strenuous schedule.

He also scooped up an impressive total of 64 ground balls.

Sophomore midfielder KJ Wade burst on the scene this spring with 34 goals, 6 assists and 37 ground balls.

Senior Nathan Kissel was a strong defenseman and had 30 ground balls.

Youngsters including other Montclair residents, such as sophomores Enzo Alicandri (middie with 11 goals and 8 assists to go along with 32 ground balls) and Jack Hughes (attackman with 9 goals, 8 assists and 13 ground balls) were also supporting parts to the success of Coach Sabino Rodano's Cougar laxmen.

Among other Montclair residents boosting the MKA laxmen were senior tri-captains Charlie Wolff and Ben Safirstein, who have already been written about in neighborhood posts.
