Montclair Residents: Pay Your Taxes and Utility Bills Online
Montclair now accepting tax and utility bill payments online

The Township of Montclair is now accepting tax and utility bill payments online by debit card, credit card and e-check. Earlier this year Montclair contracted for the service with Link2Gov, Corp., a subsidiary of Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) that provides electronic payment processing and e-commerce development services for federal, state, and local government agencies throughout the US. The township also contracted for a merchant account with Paymentech LLC, a subsidiary of JP Morgan Chase Bank.
“Not only is Link2Gov a company widely used by governments throughout the country for secure online payment processing, their products easily integrate with our existing financial accounting software,” said Montclair CFO Frank Mason. “With Link2Gov and Paymenttech, we're using products that are in full compliance with state and federal requirements and have a proven record of working really well with our current reporting system.”
Montclair residents will be able to pay their tax and utility bills using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express credit cards and a 2.95% convenience feel will apply to credit card payments. Other payment options are debit card which has a $3.95 transaction fee, and electronic check which will have a fee of $1.05 per transaction.
