Montclair Restaurant to Host All-Inclusive New Year's Eve Rockabilly Sock Hop

The Pig and Prince restaurant will be hosting an all-inclusive New Year's Eve Rockabilly Sock Hop fit for a king.

If you’re looking for something to do on New Year’s Eve, the Pig and Prince Restaurant and Gastrolounge in Montclair will be hosting an all-inclusive New Year’s Eve Rockabilly Sock Hop to ring in 2015.

The celebration includes a 1950s inspired diner cuisine, ice bar, malted milkshakes, cigar roller, games and live music by a nine-piece “Rockabilly” band, Rhymin’ Bobby Diamond and the Rock Hards, according to a news release from the restaurant. Additionally, those attending the event are encouraged to throw on their best ‘50s inspired clothing.

“We want to ring in 2015 with a fun event featuring the earliest style of Rock ‘n Roll – Rockabilly,” Mike Carrino, chef and partner of Pig and Prince Restaurant and Gastrolouge, said in the news release. “From top to bottom, this New Year’s Eve party has it all – open bar, a 1950s diner-inspired featuring malted milkshakes, burger sliders, waffle fries, mac and cheese bites, caramel corn, games and great live music. On the heels of the success of last year’s Gatsby themed party, we expect this year’s event will be one that will be remembered for many years.”
