Montclair Restaurant To Host New Year's Eve 'Prohibition' Party For 2016
The Pig and Prince Restaurant in Montclair will host a "Re-Envision Prohibition" New Year's Eve party to usher in 2016.

On Thursday, Dec. 31, the Pig & Prince Restaurant in Montclair will host an all-inclusive, “Re-Envision Prohibition” New Year’s Eve party to usher in 2016.

During the event, the restaurant’s door will take on a green hue, the same symbol that represented a “speak-easy” during the U.S. prohibition era.
The event will include a light buffet, sushi bar, raw bar, and live music from Father Thyme and His Royal Swine, according to a release.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their best “speak-easy inspired attire,” a release stated.
“We want to throw the biggest New Year’s Eve party in northern NJ while tipping our glass to the prohibition era,” said Pig & Prince owner Mike Carrino.
Capped at 200 celebrants, Pig & Prince’s “Re-Envision Prohibition” New Year’s Eve party is all-inclusive and costs $99 plus tax and gratuity. Tickets can be purchased by calling Pig & Prince directly at 973-233-1006, or by emailing tickets@pigandprince.com.
