Montclair Restaurant’s Door Kicked In, Register Raided: Police

Someone kicked in the door of a local restaurant and stole $80 from the cash register, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone kicked in the door of a local restaurant and stole $80 from the cash register on Sunday, Montclair police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, an overnight burglary took place at New Jin Lin on Bloomfield Avenue. Access to the restaurant was gained by kicking in a front door.

The intruder stole about $80 from the register, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
