Montclair Sorority To Hold Community Book Fair: May 14
The public event will include 1,000 free children's books, face painting and book readings with local authors.
Bloomfield, NJ - The Montclair Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will host a community book fair on Saturday, May 14.
The free, family-friendly event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bloomfield Public Library, 90 Broad Street.
According to organizers, the event – intended to “promote literacy and literacy awareness” – will include the distribution of more than 1,000 free children's books to local families, face painting and book readings with local authors such as C.C. Minton, author of "Daddy's Greek Potato Pie."
