Montclair State University Is National Leader in Hispanic Graduate Rate, Report Claims
Magazine's annual study ranks the school 2nd overall in New Jersey for number of bachelor's degrees earned by Hispanic students.

Montclair State University is one of the leading universities in the nation when it comes to graduating Hispanic bachelor degree students, a recent study claimed.
The school made the cover of Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine’s annual “Top 100 Colleges for Hispanics” for 2015, ranking 51st in the nation - and 2nd overall in New Jersey - for the total number of bachelor’s degrees earned by Hispanic students.
The report states that out of 3,201 total graduates, 656 were Hispanic, or about 20 percent. This total included 197 male students and 459 female students.

According to the magazine:
“In the past two years [MSU] has increased its graduate enrollment among Hispanics by almost 15 percent, while consistently improving its undergraduate Hispanic degrees granted and total enrollment.”
