Montclair State Won’t Penalize ‘Peacefully Protesting’ Students
If you're a high school student with a passion for the 1st Amendment and know how to peacefully express it, MSU won't count it against you.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — If you’re got a passion for the 1st Amendment and peaceful protest, Montclair State University won’t judge you for it.
On Tuesday, the university released the following message on social media:
“Montclair State University respects students’ rights to protest peacefully. A student receiving disciplinary action resulting from participating in such an activity would not be penalized in the admissions process at Montclair State.”
MSU’s Twitter post got its first comment about 20 minutes later: “I love my alma mater!”
