“We’ve heard from the community regarding street conditions following this week’s significant snowfall, and we want to share an update on where snow cleanup efforts currently stand,” the township stated in an advisory.
“Our Department of Community Service (DCS) crews have been working continuously since Sunday in response to one of the largest snowstorms the township has experienced in several years,” the advisory continued.

“Snow removal has not stopped – operations have transitioned from emergency plowing to more detailed, targeted cleanup,” town administrators said. “Crews are now in a second phase of cleanup focused on clearing curb lines, intersections, and narrowed roadways by hauling away accumulated snow. Cleanup will continue systematically until all streets meet safety standards.”
Montclair has announced town-wide overnight street parking restrictions in February (see below).
“We appreciate the community’s continued patience, cooperation, and courteous driving as crews work to fully address the impacts of this storm,” the municipal advisory said. “These town-wide overnight parking restrictions are critical to completing cleanup safely and restoring streets to proper condition as quickly as possible.”
