In Montclair: Stolen Mazda On Lloyd Road / Dumpster Fire At Nishuane School / Apartment Burglary On Walnut Street

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are reprinted directly from the Montclair police blotter, a listing of selected incidents that may not include the full scope of activity in the area. All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

8-18-2015 (Nishuane School) - A small fire near the dumpsters at the rear of the school. The small fire was extinguished by school staff. No damage was reported. The fire was discovered at 4 p.m.

8-20-2015 (Lloyd Road) - A Mazda CX-7, parked in the street, was stolen.

8-20-2015 (Valley Road) - Two vehicles were vandalized in the rear lot of an apartment building. Both vehicles had their side window smashed. Nothing was taken in these incidents.

8-21-2015 (Franklin Avenue) - A bicycle was stolen from the rear yard of a residence.

8-22-2015 (Walnut Street) - Burglary to an apartment. Jewelry and loose change were taken.
