Montclair Theater To Hold Free Juneteenth Show: ‘Whispers of Jubilee’
The Vanguard Theater in Montclair will present a free performance of "Whispers of Jubilee" in recognition of the Juneteenth holiday.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Vanguard Theater in Montclair will present a free performance of “Whispers of Jubilee” in recognition of the Juneteenth holiday.
According to the theater, “Whispers of Jubilee” is a song and dance celebration of freedom and the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans. The encore performance will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 19. Learn more here.
