Montclair Vandals Trash Nishuane Pool
The suspects tossed 50 chairs and 10 umbrellas into the water and also destroyed a handicap pool lift.
Looking to take a dip in Montclair? You won’t be doing it at Nishuane Pool until Friday.
On Tuesday, the township issued the following statement explaining the closure:
“Nishuane Pool will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday due to vandalism. Last night vandals threw 50 chairs, 10 umbrellas and stands, several umbrella bases, and several hoses and buckets into the pool. In addition, the handicap pool lift was destroyed. Nishuane Pool will re-open Friday, August 14.”
