A project to replace water mains at several locations in Montclair is expected to affect local traffic for two months, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A project to replace water mains at several locations in Montclair is expected to affect local traffic for two months, authorities said.

The Montclair Department of Utilities released the following advisory on Wednesday morning:

“The Montclair Water Bureau will be replacing water mains on Hillside Avenue, Church Street, Orange Road, Valley Road, and Trinity Place. Work will commence Thursday, August 23 at the intersection of Church Street and Orange Road. The project is anticipated to last two months. Traffic in the area will be impacted. Please allow extra time if traveling through the work area.”
