Montclair's Gray Russell Earns Lifetime Environmental Award

MONTCLAIR, NJ -- The Northeast Earth Coalition(NEEC) recently honored Montclair Sustainability Officer Gray Russell with its 2018 Lifetime Environmental Achievement Award at the organization’s third annual "Act Locally for a More Sustainable World" conference.

During a ceremony at the Montclair Public Library last month, NEEC Founder José German presented the longtime Montclair environmentalist with his award, expressing appreciation for “the outstanding service Gray has consistently delivered to the Montclair community and beyond.”

“Gray’s actions and environmental commitment – a great example of the leadership, dedication, hard work, and selfless service that are core values of NEEC – have made Montclair and New Jersey more eco-friendly and sustainable,” German said. “The work he does makes a lasting contribution to our community, and is an inspiration that needs to be replicated locally and across the state.”
