MPL Hosts Adult Summer Reading Program for Ages 18 to 110
Montclair Public Library and Bike & Walk Montclair have partnered for the library's summer reading program: Exercise Your Mind--Read!

Montclair Public Library (MPL) and Bike & Walk Montclair have partnered for the library's summer reading program. Exercise Your Mind--Read!, the theme for adults this year, focuses on healthy living. Registration begins June 24.
MPL encourages the community to join and challenge themselves to read one book every week between June 24 and September 9. After completing a book, participants can submit a review to earn chances to win a new FitBit or one of many giftcards to Watchung Booksellers.
Ways to submit bookish love (minimum of 140 characters) include*:

- post a book review on the Summer Reading website
- post a book review on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #MPLsummerreading
- tag a photo of yourself reading, the book cover, or anything that reminds you of the book you completed, with the hashtag #MPLsummerreading on Instagram
- drop off your review at the Main Library reference desk
Participants can also earn chances to win by attending summer reading events and Bike & Walk Montclair activities. To register and view the calendar of events, visit montclairlibrary.org/summerreading.
Finally, we want you to Exercise Your Mind...and also your body! You can earn one chance for each 30 minutes of physical activity for up to 20 chances. Whether it be yoga, bicycling, swimming or another exercise, be sure to log it with your books. Simply type the activity (e.g., “Jogging”) into the book title field and provide the total amount of time in the review field.
