N.J. Dog Owner Has Tearful Reunion With Stolen Pooches
A New Jersey dog owner's pets were allegedly stolen along with their owner's car.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — After allegedly taking an unexpected trip in a stolen car this weekend, a pair of dogs are safe and back with their owner in Essex County, reports say.
Nova and Dude’s unwanted voyage began when a Bloomfield woman’s car was stolen from her driveway on Sunday evening with the Labrador and Bulldog still inside, according to social media reports.
The frenzied owner and concerned community members quickly set up an online canvassing effort, offering a $10,000 reward for the dogs, which were both reportedly microchipped and wearing collars.

The car was allegedly found in Newark later that evening on Avon and 19th… without Nova or Dude, reports said. But the encounter had a happy ending when her babies were returned to her safe and sound with the help of the local community, their owner wrote.
