Trump Supporter Gets Crowbar Beating Because Of T-Shirt: Police
The Trump supporter told cops that a man followed him into a Friendly's parking lot and smashed him repeatedly with a crowbar.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A New Jersey Donald Trump supporter reportedly got a crowbar beating because of his choice of attire last week, authorities say.
The 62-year-old male victim told Bloomfield police that he was walking on West Passaic Avenue on Aug. 3 when a man in an older-model, gray vehicle began to razz him about his Donald Trump T-shirt.
Police said that the alleged Trump hater then followed the victim to the Friendly’s Restaurant on Broad Street and approached him in the parking lot with a crowbar in hand. The man then started struggling with the senior citizen and eventually struck him several times on the forearms, hands and thighs, and he reportedly fled the scene before police arrived, police said.
