MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair Kimberley Academy (MKA) recently opened a new, 27,000 square foot “Inquiry & Innovation Center” on its campus.

The new academic hub features flexible classrooms, seven “state-of-the-art” science labs, a robotics and engineering suite, and a living green roof, among other features – which will help to “reimagine interdisciplinary learning and discovery” in the Upper School.

The building also unites MKA’s academic support and counseling offices in a centralized space for the first time.

“This new center gives our students the tools, space, and confidence to ask big questions and find real answers,” said Petra Sauer, director of STEM+ programming at MKA.
