New Thai Restaurant Opens At Montclair Center

Hungry to try something new? Charm Thai Cuisine is now open in Montclair Center, offering savory meals, crisp salads, and sweet drinks.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A new spot for Thai food has opened in Montclair Center, offering traditional cuisine made with sweet, savory, or spicy sauces and fresh ingredients.

Charm Thai Cuisine is located at 600 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair NJ and open for lunch and dinner. Their phone number is 973-783-3800.

Montclair Center invites people to stop in and "experience traditional Thai food from mild and spicy to sweet and savory with your choice of protein, served with fresh veggies."

Charm offers authentic Thai curries; various noodle dishes including pad Thai, pad woon sen, and see ew; fried rice; appetizers like curry puffs and deep fried stuffed shrimp; and a variety of soups and salads.

Duck, seafood, and tofu options are also on the menu, including the "POA TAEK" dish, which has shrimp, mussels, squid, and scallops in a hot, sour soup with herbs, spices, and veggies.

On the dessert menu, you'll find sticky rice with custard, fried ice cream, and (if the season is right) mango sticky rice. Drinks include Thai iced tea and iced coffee, fruit juices, and flavored Thai iced tea with mango or lychee.

Hours are Sunday-Thursday are from noon-3 p.m. and then from 4:30-9:30 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, Charm is open from noon-3 p.m. and from 4:30-10 p.m. They offer pickup or dine-in, and have a private room for parties.
