Nitrous Oxide Tank Seized Outside Montclair Concert Venue: Police
Police arrived on the scene after getting a call about people selling balloons filled with nitrous oxide, also known as "laughing gas."
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Police recently seized a large tank of nitrous oxide outside a concert venue in Montclair, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to the Wellmont Theater on Seymour Street on Friday after getting an anonymous report about people selling balloons filled with nitrous oxide, which is also known as “laughing gas.”
Police found a 20-pound tank hidden near some parked vehicles, authorities said.
