No Charges After Alleged Gun Threat At Glen Ridge School: Cops
There will be no charges following a lengthy investigation into an alleged gun-related threat at a Glen Ridge school, authorities said.

GLEN RIDGE, NJ — There will be no charges following a lengthy investigation into an alleged gun-related threat at a Glen Ridge school, authorities recently announced.
On Friday, the Glen Ridge Police Department announced that no charges are being filed in connection with the alleged threat, which was reported on the evening of May 30.
“During the lengthy investigation, many students were interviewed and all leads were explored,” police stated. “After a thorough investigation by the Glen Ridge Police Department, in conjunction with the Essex County Prosecutors Office, it was determined that no threat of violence by firearm could be substantiated.”

The Glen Ridge High School administration fully cooperated with the investigation, which is now closed, police said.
