No Injuries After Fire At Montclair Apartment, Officials Say
There was fire, heat and water damage, Montclair fire officials said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair firefighters put out a blaze at an apartment on Thursday evening; no injuries were reported, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Fire Department:
“On March 3 at 7:43 p.m., the Montclair Fire Department received a call reporting a fire on Elm Street. The residents were in the process of evacuating upon fire department arrival. MFD units entered the building and located the fire on the third floor. MFD units quickly extinguished the fire. There was fire, heat and water damage to the affected apartment. There weren’t any reported firefighter or civilian injuries. The last unit cleared the scene at 9:56 p.m.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation, authorities said Friday.
