The phrase Linsanity refers to the fever that has swept the world of professional basketball after Lin, a graduate of Palo Alto High and Harvard, has helped the New York Knicks win six straight games—reinvigorating the team, New York and the NBA.
Lin, a point guard, also had an astounding and outstanding performance against LA Lakers' Kobe Bryant during their match up on Friday, Feb. 10. He outscored and had more assists than Bryant.

Turns out that Lin credits this "miracle" to God and said that "Gods fingerprint was all over the place." Lin's faith has been nurtured in Mountain View's Chinese Church in Christ and in an exclusive interview he did with the San Jose Mercury News, Lin goes into more detail.
