Package Thief Steals Expensive Gold Ring In Montclair: Police
Someone stole an 18-karat gold ring encrusted with small diamonds from a Montclair residence, police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair resident lost an expensive gold ring to a package thief last week, authorities reported Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a Claremont Avenue resident told police that an 18-karat gold ring was delivered to his home on May 9. But before he was able to secure the package, it was stolen from his porch.
The ring was encrusted with multiple small diamonds and was valued at approximately $1,300, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
