Parent/Movie Meetup Series Returns To Montclair Theater

Are you a local parent in Montclair looking for some companions to see a movie with?

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Are you a local parent in Essex County looking for some companions to see a movie with? The Matinee Club, a monthly, morning movie series that returns in October, is hosting events in Millburn and Montclair for its new season.

Last year, more than 1,000 parents enjoyed a monthly, 11:30 a.m. matinee from October to May with the group, which has been in operation for over a decade, according to a news release.

Members choose the day of the week and the location that suits their schedule best, and have their choice of two, first-run films each month. Venues include the Bow-Tie Cinema in downtown Millburn, Robert's Chatham Theater in the Hickory Square Mall, the Clairidge theater in downtown Montclair, and Ridgewood's Warner Quad theater.
