Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed At Gunpoint In Montclair: Police

The men stole the food, an AirPod and a wallet with $50 cash. The driver wasn't hurt, Montclair police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of masked men robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint in Montclair last weekend, authorities said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the robbery took place on Saturday on Midland Avenue.

The driver told officers that he was making a delivery when two men in ski masks – one brandishing a handgun – stole his AirPod and his wallet, which had $50 cash.

The men also stole the food, police said.

The suspects then fled south on Midland Avenue in a dark-colored sedan, police said.

The driver said the men had slim builds and were wearing "black and dark clothing." A police investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information can call Detective Daniel Heiser at 973-509-4724.
