Poop Smeared On Car In Montclair; Pickleball Paddles Stolen: Police
Two unusual car-related crimes were reported in Montclair last week, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Two unusual car-related crimes were reported in Montclair last week, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a case of criminal mischief involving feces was reported Jan. 31 on Valley Road:
“The complainant reported that an unknown individual smeared feces all over the driver’s side window and driver’s side door handle of her vehicle. In addition, there appeared to be a long scratch on the driver’s side of her car. The vehicle was parked legally at the time of the incident. There is no suspect description.”
Another vehicle-related crime was reported Feb. 3 on Inwood Avenue, police said:

“A resident entered his vehicle at 6 a.m. and discovered that it had been entered overnight. A bag containing pickleball paddles and sneakers was stolen.”
