Rallies For Women’s Health Care Rights In Montclair, Maplewood

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Rallies in support of women’s health care rights are planned to take place in Montclair and Maplewood on Tuesday, May 21.

According to BlueWaveNJ, the Montclair rally is being held in solidarity with #StopTheBans, a national day of action. It will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the corner of Church Street and Bloomfield Avenue. (Learn more here)

According to StopAbortionBans.org, another rally in solidarity with the national day of action is planned for 6:30 p.m. at the Maplewood Train Station. (Learn more here)

“All across the country, people are fighting back against the unconstitutional, anti-abortion rhetoric and dangerous assault on women's health care as was recently passed by Alabama's near-abortion ban. This Tuesday, May 21, progressive organizations across the country are hosting a national day of action to #StopTheBans and protect women's rights.”
