Recorder Contest For 3rd Graders In Essex County
Got a video of your third-grader playing the iconic childhood musical instrument? It could net them a cash prize and private lessons.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — In celebration of “March is Play the Recorder Month,” Montclair Early Music and the American Recorder Association are sponsoring a contest open to all recorder players who attend third grade in Essex County schools. The winner will receive a prize of $75, plus six private lessons and an opportunity to perform with Montclair Early Music at their next concert.
