Report Names The 100 ‘Lowest Paying Jobs’ In New Jersey
Don't agree with the Fight for $15 movement? Tell it to these 100 groups of Garden State workers.

When New Jersey Governor Chris Christie vetoed a bill that would have raised the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour in August, critics railed that the decision would punish hard-working residents who simply don’t earn enough to make ends meet.
But what Garden State workers would have benefited the most from a higher minimum wage?
“As underpaid workers we know what it’s like to struggle to get by,” writes FightFor15.org, an advocacy group for a $15 an hour minimum wage. “We struggle even to pay our bills and put food on the table for our families… We work hard. We try to do the right thing – whether that means fighting for our country in Iraq or just being a good mom here at home. But we’re still stuck living in poverty.”
