Rock Queen Melissa Etheridge Coming to Wellmont Theater April 13
One of rock's female icons, Melissa Etheridge, is bringing her Medicine Show tour to Montclair, N.J. this spring

Music icon and “Come to my Window” singer Melissa Etheridge is bringing her Medicine Show Tour to the historic Wellmont Theater on April 13. As one of music’s greatest female icons, Etheridge is set to rock concert halls around the country, as she tours for her 15th studio album, “The Medicine Show.”
The singer-songwriter, guitarist and activist has a strong health and wellness message throughout her latest tracks, including “Here Comes the Pain” and “Last Hello,” which examine today’s opioid crisis and the Parkland, Fla. school shooting. Etheridge has become a strong activist over the years by incorporating confessional lyrics in her music. She is also seen as an idol for cancer patients and survivors for her song “I Run for Life,” which finds her opening up about her own battle with cancer.
Etheridge’s road to rock stardom began with her self-titled, Grammy Award-nominated debut album, “Melissa Etheridge,” which rose to no. 22 on the Billboard 200 in 1993. From there, Etheridge went on to earn multiple Grammy nominations, winning twice (Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female, for “Ain’t It Heavy” and “Come to My Window”).
