Turtle Back Zoo To Host 'Howl-O-Ween' 2016: N.J. Events
Candy stations will be located throughout the zoo and costumes are welcome at the Halloween event, officials say.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — There’s going to be a howling good time at the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange this year when the Essex County institution hosts its 2016 "Howl-O-Ween" event on Monday, Oct. 31.
According to the zoo, the event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m., with the zoo closing from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in preparation. The event is open to the public; tickets are $3 for Zoological Society members and $5 for non-members.
“Come trick-or-treating at the zoo,” the county’s social media post states. “With candy stations throughout the grounds, everyone is sure to have a ‘sweet’ time. Costumes welcome. Bring your own treat bag.”
