NJ County Jail Mistakenly Releases Inmate, Asks Public Not To Approach Him
Clark Green Jr. an inmate being held at the jail was mistakenly released in Trenton. The public has been asked not to approach him.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ - The Mercer County Correction Center has mistakenly released an inmate, the county announced Friday night.
Clark Green Jr., an inmate at the Correction Center, was mistakenly released from custody on Sept. 23 around 8:30 p.m. in Trenton.
Green, whose date of birth is Oct. 8, 1966, was being held at Mercer County Jail on a charge of theft by deception and while that case has been resolved, Green also had robbery offenses out of Ohio, Mercer County spokesperson said.

Through an interstate agreement with Ohio, Green was being housed in Mercer on the local charge since Aug. 31, the County spokesperson.
The matter is currently under investigation. The U.S Marshal’s NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force is the lead agency in this matter.

Anyone who sees Green should not engage him or approach him, they should call 911, county officials said.
