Senator Gill met with the students of East Orange on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Senator Gill visited Cicely L. Tyson Community School of Performing and Fine Arts on Wednesday and East Orange Campus High School along with East Orange STEM Academy on Thursday. During her presentations, Senator Gill listened to the students about what issues impact their lives and communities and had conversations about how bills become laws, demonstrating the process for the students. Senator Gill left the schools inspired by the thoughtful questions asked by the students about how to get involved and how government works.
