Sometimes small acts of kindness are the most inspirational.

On Aug. 2, the Montclair Animal Shelter reported that “Ben,” a local boy and animal lover, raised $19.25 to benefit the municipally run shelter by selling lemonade.

The young animal activist’s good deed didn’t go unnoticed on social media. Less than a week after writing about his donation, the post had garnered 520 likes and more than a dozen comments on Facebook.
