Soldier: Thanks Mom for Winning Super Bowl Tickets!
West Caldwell fan heading to Indianapolis shortly after returning from Afghanistan.
West Caldwell resident and Giants fan Andrew Hamstra, 22, is heading to the Super Bowl this weekend after his mom bought a $5 ticket from the Rotary Club of Newark and won, according to a story posted Friday on CBS New York.
Hamstra, a medic in the U.S. Army, recently returned from serving in Afghanistan. According to the story, he was able to follow his favorite team while deployed, and never missed a game.
