Spooky Stories By Candlelight In Montclair: 2024 Halloween Events

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Spooky ghosts, unsolved murders and creepy cryptids will be some of the “ghastly” thrills at an upcoming Halloween season event in Montclair.

Here’s what to expect at the “Spooky Stories by Candlelight Tour” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, according to the Montclair History Center:

“Spooky ghosts, unsolved murders, creepy cryptids, gruesome deaths — are you afraid of the dark? Guests will travel back in time using the Crane House & Historic YWCA Museum as their guide as we explore ghastly tales from Montclair’s history on this candlelight tour. Recommended for ages 15+. $20/person; $15 for Montclair History Center members (ghost guests are free…as long as they leave at the end!).”
