Standout MKA Goalie Heading To University of Chicago

Montclair resident Ella Freeman is enjoying a superb senior season as the veteran starting goalie for the Montclair Kimberley Academy girls lacrosse team.

The experienced net minder is an anchor in the back for the Cougars who entered the Thursday'April 23 home game vs. No. 3 ranked Kent Place with a 5-3 record while playing a highly-competitive schedule in the Stars & Stripes White Division.

"Ella has been an outstanding leader and competitor, consistently demonstrating the work ethic, discipline, and team-first mentality that define great athletes," said MKA head coach Kristen Dawes. "I'm confident that she will make a meaningful impact as she continues her career at the University of Chicago."
