‘Strong Arm Robbery’ In Montclair, 3 Men Flee Scene: Police
A group of three men accosted a victim during a "strong arm robbery" near a gas station in Montclair, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A group of three men accosted a victim during a “strong arm robbery” near a gas station in Montclair on Tuesday, authorities said.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the robbery, which took place on Bloomfield Avenue:
“The victim reported that he was approaching the Shell gas station and had a verbal altercation with three males. He reported that during the altercation, the males began to attack him. One suspect entered the victim’s pockets and removed an unknown amount of money from him.”
The suspects fled the scene in a black vehicle, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
