Stuck Elevator In Glen Ridge; Police, Montclair FD Lend Aid
Emergency responders from Montclair and Glen Ridge helped to rescue multiple occupants of a stuck elevator on Bay Avenue.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Emergency responders from Montclair and Glen Ridge helped to rescue multiple occupants of a stuck elevator on Bay Avenue earlier this month, authorities said.
According to the Glen Ridge Police Department, one of its officers and first responders with the Montclair Fire Department responded to a report of a “stuck, occupied elevator” around 5:50 p.m. on May 10 on the 300-block of Bay Avenue.
The Montclair Fire Department was able to successfully remove the occupants; no injuries were reported, authorities said.
