Studio Montclair Art Exhibit: ‘Discovery In The Detail’

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Studio Montclair will host an exhibit, “Discovery in the Detail,” a visual exploration of the meaning that can be found by “focusing on close-up views of works of art,” from April 6 through May 19 at the Studio Montclair Gallery, 127 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 6 from 7 to 9 p.m., according to a news release from organizers. For more information about the exhibit, click here.

According to event organizers:

“The show features work in a variety of visual media in which the artist discovered a detail that they found compelling enough to be expanded into a new stand-alone piece. Both the new piece and the work with the detail that inspired it will be exhibited. This side-by-side presentation will encourage the viewer to explore the depth and nuances of the artwork, and provide unique insight into the artist’s creative thinking and techniques.”
