Teen Found Bloody, Unconscious After Scuffle In Montclair: Police
Witnesses said the teen was punched, fell and struck his head on the pavement, according to the Montclair Police Department.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A teen was found unconscious and bleeding in the street after reportedly being punched during a “large disturbance” earlier this week, Montclair police announced Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following statement about the incident, which happened on Sunday:
“Officers responded to Hawthorne Place on a report of a large disturbance. Upon arrival, most of those involved had dispersed or fled the area. Officers located an 18-year-old male who was in the street who was unconscious and bleeding. Witnesses reported that the male had been punched, fell and struck his head on the pavement. The suspects were described as two juvenile males, both wearing white t-shirts. One of the suspects had long black hair. They fled west on Hawthorne Place into a white vehicle.”
The victim regained consciousness and was transported to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, police said.
