Missing Teen Found, Cedar Grove Police Say (Updated)

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — UPDATE: The youth reported missing in Cedar Grove on Tuesday has been found, police said. Our original article follows below.

Cedar Grove police are searching for a missing 14-year-old, authorities announced Tuesday.

According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, the teen – who is autistic – left on foot and was last seen at 1 p.m. in the area of Tierney Drive. He was wearing a red sweatshirt, black Adidas pants with a red stripe, and gray sneakers.

Authorities said anyone who sees the missing teen should call 911.
