Teens From School of Rock Montclair Perform at Milwaukee Summerfest
Teen musicians share the same stage as Rolling Stones, Kings of Leon and Linkin Park.
Teen musicians from School of Rock Montclair performed at Summerfest, an 11 day concert event that’s held annually in Milwaukee and is billed as “the World’s Largest Music Festival.”
The band from School of Rock Montclair featured the following Montclair musicians:
- Aidan Champeau – 14 years old (guitar/bass)
- Aidan Joyce - 14 (vocals)
- Cassidy Crosby - 18 (guitar, vocals)
- Becky Crosby - 14 (vocals, keyboards)
- Sam Schuman - 16 (guitar, vocals)
- Steve Browne - 16 (drums, keyboards)
More than 800 artists representing all musical genres were featured at this year’s Summerfest, including the Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, Zac Brown, Carrie Underwood, Kendrick Lamar, Florida Georgia Line, Kings of Leon, Keith Urban, and Linkin Park.

“Our students rocked the same huge stage as The Flaming Lips, and the same event as Stevie Wonder, Sublime with Rome, Buddy Guy, and Third Eye Blind,” says Kevin March, Creative Director for School of Rock Montclair.
“I couldn’t be more proud of the progress that they’ve made and the skills that they’ve developed as a result of their participation in School of Rock Montclair’s Performance Programs, and I’m looking forward to being blown away by their continued development and growth as they continue their musical journeys with us.”
